The program for our 8th memorial day
For the 8th anniversary of the tragedy of Linate, we have organized the following program:
Thursday, October 8
- 10:30 a.m. Holy Mass at the S. Ambrogio Basilica
Celebrated by the Bishop of Milan Mons Luigi Stucchi
Choir: San Carlo Prep School
- 11:40 a.m. Transportation by bus to the “Bosco dei Faggi”.
Deposition of flowers and lighting of candles.
Saturday, October 10
- 09:00 p.m. Memorial Concert at the La Scala Opera House
As usual, the city of Milan is offering the concert at La Scala Theater ot Milan.
This year’s program will be a concert directed by Maestro Maestro Myung-Whun Chung with the participation of the La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra, performing:
First part:
Italiana in Algeri Ouverture
Guglielmo Tell Ouverture
Preludio di Traviata di G. Verdi.
Forza del Destino Ouvertoure
Second part:
Quadri di un esposizione di Musorgskij.
